Arbor Ridge Pet Clinic Stay Well Program For Exotic Pets

The Arbor Ridge Pet Clinic is pleased to announce the introduction of its Stay Well Programs. The goal behind the program is to take better care of our patients. How do we do that? When a pet is part of the program they receive FREE exams while on the program. This means if you are concerned about your pet and you are not sure if they are sick, you can bring them in and the exam is FREE. In this way we hope to catch problems earlier and keep your pet healthier and help them lead a longer, happier life.

What does the program do? Well aside from FREE exams, the program includes the following services:

Ferret Stay Well Program - (1 year duration)

The cost for this program is

$630

This package includes all the vaccines that the ferret needs, plus premedications. It also includes a heartworm antigen and antibody test as well as a fecal check to look for parasites. In addition twelve months of Revolution are provided. Included are two glucose blood tests to screen for insulinomas. Lastly, it includes FREE exams for the duration of the program. Includes $25 OFF a Dental. Emergency Exams will be subject to additional fees and TAXES NOT INCLUDED.

Compare this cost to a ferret that received two wellness exams and everything listed above included in the cost would be $1,072.63! That is a savings of at least $480!

Rabbits and Rodents - (1 year duration)

The cost for a year is

$630

This package includes FREE exams, a fecal check to look for parasites, monthly nail trims, and either a bag of 14 Liter Carefresh, 40 oz of Timothy Hay, or Oxbow Vitamin C tablets once a month OR a container of Oxbow food or a 60 Liter of Carefresh every two months. Emergency Exams will be subject to additional fees and TAXES NOT INCLUDED.

Compare this to a rabbit getting two wellness exams, a monthly nail trim, a fecal exam and a 60 Liter of CareFresh every other month, at a cost of $876.30! A savings of $275 and that is not including the FREE exams.

Hedgehogs - (1 year duration)

The cost for a year is

This package includes FREE exams, a fecal check to look for parasites, monthly nail trims, and either a bag of 14 Liter Carefresh once a month OR a container of Briskies Pelleted Hedgehog Food OR a 60 Liter of Carefresh every two months. This also includes gas sedation using sevoflurane to perform exams and/or nail trims. Emergency Exams will be subject to additional fees and TAXES NOT INCLUDED.

Compare this to a hedgehog getting two wellness exams, a nail trim monthly, a fecal exam, a 60 Liter of CareFresh every other month, and sedation for the exams and nail trims, which would cost $1088.30! A savings of over $678.80 and that is not including the FREE exams.

Avian Stay Well Programs - (1 year duration)

The cost for a year is

$699

This package includes FREE exams, a fecal test to look for parasites, a small bag of Zupreem Pellets once a month or a larger ~4 lb bag of Kaytee Pellets every 3 months, as well as monthly wing, beak and/or nail trims. Emergency Exams will be subject to additional fees and TAXES NOT INCLUDED.

Compare this to a Blue and Gold Macaw that received two wellness exams a year, a fecal check, a bag of Zupreem every month, and a wing/beak/Nail trim six times a year, which would cost $781.50! A savings of $402 and again that is not including the FREE exams.

Reptiles and Amphibians - (1 year duration)

The cost for a year is

This package includes FREE exams, 2 fecal floats/directs to look for parasites, monthly nail and or beak trims, a jar of RepCal Herptivite and Calcium supplement every 3 months, and your choice of a ProExotic Temp Gun, Ceramic Heat Emmiter or Porcelain Clamp Lamp once a year. Emergency Exams will be subject to additional fees and TAXES NOT INCLUDED.

Compare this to an iguana getting two wellness exams, a nail trim every month, two fecal exams, four jars of Repcal Herptivite and Calcium, and a 100 watt Ceramic heat emmiter, which would cost $622.74! A savings of over $263.24 and that is not including the FREE exams.

24 hour cancellation policy

If we are not notified at least 24 hours prior to the appointment, there will be a missed exam fee that will be due prior to future services provided.  The fee will be for amount charged for the exam of the pet that was scheduled to be seen.
